Salvage Pontoons – Horizontal are a highly versatile, totally enclosed flotation solution designed for shallow water salvage, vessel draft reduction, and controlled lifting close to the surface. Their cylindrical, horizontal design provides excellent stability and buoyancy control, making them ideal where long tows, pipeline installation, or cable-laying operations are required.
Manufactured by Subsalve USA, these heavy-duty salvage pontoons are constructed from urethane-coated, high-strength nylon with RF-welded seams, delivering superior abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and long-term durability in demanding marine environments.
An integrated replaceable nylon webbing lift harness maintains the pontoon in a stable horizontal orientation while providing a 6:1 safe working ratio. Each unit is supplied complete with shackles, valves and all necessary hardware, allowing for immediate deployment on site. Pressure relief valves ensure controlled venting during ascent, protecting both the pontoon and the load.
Available in standard cylindrical or elongated tube configurations, horizontal salvage pontoons are a proven solution for offshore, inshore and near-surface recovery operations.
