The Jason’s Cradle® Standard Unit (JC007) is a globally recognised man overboard (MOB) recovery solution, designed for safe and efficient retrieval of casualties in the medically preferred horizontal position. Ideal for most vessel types with a freeboard of up to 5 metres, this cradle is widely used by commercial fleets, rescue vessels, coastguards, and military operators worldwide.
SOLAS-certified and manufactured to the highest safety standards, the Standard Cradle forms a non-collapsible scoop upon deployment. The casualty is guided headfirst into the cradle, and through a coordinated lift—using strops or hauling lines—they are rolled horizontally onto the deck. This method dramatically reduces the risk of Circum-Rescue Collapse (also known as dry drowning), especially when recovering unconscious or injured individuals.
