Hydrostatic Test System for Diving & High-Pressure Cylinders – Jacket Method
Octopus’ Hydrostatic Test Systems: Standard Jacket Method is designed for accurate testing of diving and high-pressure cylinders. This system includes a test panel, test jacket, and essential equipment, ideal for ensuring compliance with key industry standards. It works by hydrostatically pressurizing the cylinder inside a water-filled jacket. The volumetric displacement of water caused by cylinder expansion is measured on the mounted burette, allowing us to calculate the permanent expansion and determine pass/fail.
Key Features of the System:
- Durable Construction: The jacket and panel are built from mild steel with a hard-wearing powder coat finish for lasting durability.
- Coned Lid for Accurate Testing: The jacket’s coned lid ensures no trapped air, promoting test accuracy.
- Industry Compliance: Fully compliant with BS EN1802, BS EN1968, and BS EN ISO18119 when used with the optional HY-PAC (Hydrostatic Pressure Automatic Cut-Off) for over-pressure control.
- Hydrostatic Test System Panel Features:
- 100:1 ratio hydropump with a 700 bar output (system max 500 bar)
- Height adjustable burette for precise measurements
- 6” Master Gauge with optional UKAS traceable calibration
- Working Gauge, Isolation Valves, and Vent Valve
- New Mini-Core Small Bore Flexible HP Hose for panel-to-jacket connection
- Optional Hydrostatic Pressure Automatic Cut-off (HY-PAC)
- Hydrostatic Test System Jacket Features:
- Coned Lid for easy removal of air and accurate test results
- Mini-Core Small Bore Flexible HP Hose for quick cylinder connections
- Burst Disc Assembly for added safety
