Cable and Pipeline Floats

Cable and Pipeline Floats are highly visible, durable flotation balloons designed to support the safe and efficient installation, suspension and recovery of underwater cables and pipelines. Manufactured by Subsalve USA, these floats are widely used for light salvage, controlled cable buoyancy, and temporary suspension during subsea installation works.

Each float is constructed from urethane-coated, high-strength nylon with RF-welded seams, providing excellent abrasion resistance, UV stability and resistance to petro-chemicals in harsh marine environments. The robust design ensures low maintenance requirements and easy cleaning between deployments.

Subsalve cable and pipeline floats are supplied complete with three stainless steel lift rings and an inflation port, allowing for flexible rigging configurations and quick installation. Every unit is individually tested prior to shipping to ensure reliability and performance in the field.

For heavier loads or larger-scale projects, Subsalve also offers enclosed flotation bags, salvage pontoons, and twin float configurations.
